Nick Suzuki has had his fair share of experience representing Team Canada in international hockey play. In 2015, he played for the Canada White team in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge. He scored one goal and a total of four points in the tournament as his team took home gold. In 2016 he was selected to the Canadian under-18 team for the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, where he scored one goal and three points in a fifth-place finish in the tournament. Suzuki eventually reached the highest level of international junior hockey when he represented Team Canada in the 2019 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. In the tournament he recorded three assists as he helped lead Team Canada to the quarterfinals. Suzuki has received consideration to represent Team Canada at the professional level and has the makings to receive this nod at some point in his career.
